Deacon Brad Feltz

Deacon Brad is the second of four children to Harold and Kathy Feltz.  He was born, raised, and graduated in Coldwater, Ohio.  He has now lived in New Bremen for over 34 years.  It took many invites for Brad to get involved in ministries at Holy Redeemer, in fact it took two people and multiple invites for him to first become a Catechist.  He taught junior high CCD for ten years, was involved in youth ministry for seven, and has now been employed full-time at Holy Redeemer for over a year.  Brad likes to stay busy and loves the constant variety of opportunities at Holy Redeemer.  He says his current title, Pastoral Associate, is Greek for “help with whatever the Pastor needs done”.  While holding down the front office, Brad is also involved with Adult Faith Formation, Digital Disciples, several Liturgical ministries, and wears a few other hats around church.  He likes to consider Holy Redeemer his second home, although his wife Lisa (married for over 30 years) and his children Jessica (married to Chris Sindelar), Alex (married to Kate Miltko), and Mikayla (attending grad school at OU), think that if he was given a cot, he would live there.  Brad is also a Grandfather, Kenneth was born in 2018, Anne in 2021. Brad was ordained a deacon on April 23, 2022. God is good. If you ever feel a call to help out, contact the front office, there are many ways to get involved and grow in your faith.
